On June 23, the 8th Edition of XCTF International League Finals came to a successful conclusion in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. The b3f0re team from the College of Computer Science and Technology, National University of Defense Technology, won the championship.
The competition attracted 2,987 teams consisting of more than 11,000 participants. After 7 qualification trials and 2 overseas wild card matches, 24 domestic and foreign well-known university teams qualified for the final.
The XCTF International League is initiated and organized by the Blue-Lotus team from Tsinghua University, co-hosted by the Cybersecurity Talent Fund and China Institute for Innovation and Development Strategy. It aims to explore innovation capabilities and development potential in cybersecurity, discover and cultivate cybersecurity technical talents. It is the earliest initiated and longest-running network attack and defense competition in China.
