On the morning of March 23, 2025, NUDT 2025 Spring Campus Marathon kicks off. The event commenced simultaneously across nine venues, including Changsha, Nanjing, Wuhan, Hefei, Xi’an, and Kunshan, attracting tens of thousands of participants—students, faculty, staff, and their families. The starting gun was fired by NUDT’s self-developed "ZhiXingZhe" robot, marking the spirited beginning of the race.
The marathon featured diverse categories such as a half-marathon, campus circuit run, and parent-child races. At different race categories, the atmosphere buzzed with similar laughter and enthusiasm. Traditional dragon and lion dances, accompanied by resounding gongs and drums, electrified the crowd, while cheerleading squads along the routes cheered on every runner. Clubs also enlivened the event with vibrant performances.
