NUDT teams win two gold medals in the 14th University Physics Competition

Results of the 14th University Physics Competition were posted recently. NUDT teams supervised by College Physics Teaching Team of College of Science won two gold medals and twenty-two silver medals, smashing the record again. This is also the seventh consecutive time that NUDT has won gold medals in the competition.


  


The University Physics Competition is an international physics competition for undergraduates from all over the world. This year, 466 teams from universities around the world carried out research on issues such as space skydiving and trampoline limits, and finally nine teams were awarded gold medals (1.9%), 86 were awarded silver medals, and 125 were awarded bronze medals.  


Teams from NUDT are supervised by College Physics Teaching Team of College of Science. Since 2017, teams from NUDT have won a total of ten gold medals in seven consecutive years, at the forefront of the competing universities.
