Recently, Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Young Officers’ Delegation visited National University of Defense Technology (NUDT). Over 20 young officers from more than 10 countries including member states, observer states and dialogue partners attended lectures, made a research achievement tour, took part in scientific innovation practice and exchanged ideas with NUDT cadets.
It is reported that NUDT is an essential stop of the delegation’s visit to China. Hosted by China’s Ministry of National Defense and organized by NUDT, this event aims to give the young officers a greater understanding and recognition of China, deepen the friendship and mutual trust among the militaries and set a good foundation for the long-term future of SCO defense and security cooperation.
