Graduate Committee

In order to assess and implement graduates’ academic talents, the university installed a Steering Committee of graduates’ academic activities in 2001. This committee consists of the leader of the Graduate School as the chair and seven chiefs of related divisions with two department/institute leaders as members responsible for the guidance, planning and consulting of graduates’ academic activities. Made up of graduates only, the Graduates’ Academic Activities Organizing Committee (Organizing Committee for short) is established through election. Similarly, a sub-committee of the Organizing Committee has been set up in each college and is responsible for the specific organization and implementation of various activities.

The Organizing Committee, adhering to the principles of “self-management, self-service, self-education”, has gradually developed six events with distinctive NUDT features: Graduates Academic Activities Festival, Expert Forum, Strong Military Forum, Graduates Innovation Festival, Science and Technology Scenery, along with cultural and physical activities. These six years of exploration and practice guide our graduates to “focus on academic activities supplemented by the necessary cultural and physical activities”.
